Rosemont's "Happy Hour"

The first Happy Hour occurred on January 23, 1987 and was organized by the school’s Grind Committee. It was in March of 1987 when Dennis Selfridge performed during a Happy Hour. Selfridge played a set of songs that included works written by famous artists including, Billy Joel, James Taylor, and many others. He was, and still is, a Philadelphia native who has produced a wide collection of music and has played over 200 shows in his career. Selfridge’s performance was an overall success and students began to request to have Happy Hour every Friday night.
