The founding of the Glee club dates back to November of 1934. Organized by student, Irma O’Connor, the club had tryouts for students to be judged by Rosemont staff members participating in the club. The club was an offshoot of Rosemont’s choral club and stood as an independent group. Of those who tried out, 9 students were selected to become members of the newly formed Glee Club.
